How has it all begun ?
Cairo Walking Tours is a group of young at heart, fun loving tour guides who have come together for a common cause: To teach history and entertain guests with creative tours. The new vision was built over years of experience of working with hospitality and travel industry in Egypt and the Middle East. Education, experience and creativity resulted into 2 new products presented for the first time to the local tourism market of Egypt; walking tours and Pay-what-you-like tours. Launching our walking tours in 2004  has met a great success and encouraged others to walk on the steps and provide the visitors with richer tours and closer to the everyday life of the Egyptians. Pay-what-you-like tours has been started only  in 2014  to add another dimension to the tour and make it simply just more successful. Pay-What-You-Like has no upfront costs which will ensure you won't pay more than the tour worth. Such tours has solved out the dilemma of being served and looked after while experiencing life in Cairo like a local. Picking the routs, sightseeing, and the small number of the groups, in addition to expert, informative and energetic guides has taken the experience to the maximum fun and comfort. We still not be able to prevent surprises and cultural shocks entirely to happen from time to time, but that what will make you excited in the morning before you start your tour. Same feeling you get before you take a roller coaster ride and you know you will get back with a smile on your face because you are looked after and served well.   
Solo  Travelers 
With great concern we follow and read about the difficulties that solo  travelers face in their travels. We at Cairo walking tours understand the challenge and we participate with services and information to make the world safer place for them. Egypt is a fantastic travel destination to travel through, but the cultural and languages barrier can arise as challenges often.  After long researches, we reached the conclusion that some little guidance and information can protect the travelers from unpleasant surprises and help them to enjoy their travel more. we are proud that our service really helps and our travelers enjoy their tours more now ( read what solo travelers say about us on TripAdvisor ). We have already served thousands  of travelers  along 14 years of experience to gain the necessary knowledge to stand for the challenge.
