In this chapter from Cairo ghost tour, we are going to interrogate the ghosts of the victims in 3 different locations of Cairo haunted places where either the actual bodies lie, or it is where the tomb is, but the body never made it there, or it is the actual crime scene where the blood was shed for real, there, under our feet.
Scene1.
Ramsses III, a victim of his own family and the ambition of a troubled woman who architected the plan that got him slaughtered ……….. we will hear the story of the trial that followed and the convicted who, some of them, were mummified and buried alive.
Akhenaton, the dreamer, the philosopher who dragged the nation to the edge of the cliff before his own murder became the only way to decode the crisis and pull the fuse on a bomb that would have burned the kingdom down if it hadn't gone off.
Scene 2
The City of the Dead — a great mausoleum where a Mamluk sultan was meant to be buried. Something terrible happened to stop that plan, and yet we stand here, at the head of his grave, to find out exactly how it failed. The City of the Dead is where people are dying to go — literally. We'll be there to hear the stories of those who never got the chance to tell them, but are still burning to scream them out to anyone willing to listen.
Scene 3
The day Egypt was betrayed from within. Not a whisper of a local drama — a shockwave that reached every corner of the globe. A single moment that forced a choice: stay the course, or watch the entire scene change with another hand at the wheel.
We step onto the exact crime scene where it happened, a place that has refused to change since. The stones remember. They still hold the screams of those who were hurt that day.
